Life in the Spirit  is a new class starting Monday, November 12th.  We will be meeting weekly from 7:00 to 8:00 pm.  Brother Alfonso Vargas and Sister Jo Willis will be teaching and training on the work of the Holy Spirit from salvation to learning to flow daily in the Holy Spirit.  We will be studying what the Word of God teaches on the subjects of being baptized in the Holy Spirit, praying in tongues, the manifestations of the Holy Spirit, intercession and praying the will of God.

Alfonso Vargas was born and raised in Tijuana Mexico. At a very young age Alfonso got involved in drugs for many years, becoming a heroin addict. Someone shared with him about Jesus; that He could set him free from his addiction. Alfonso believed it. In 1971 he accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of his life; he became a new creation in Christ. He had found the answer to what he had been looking for. He was then introduced to the Ministry of Teen Challenge.  He graduated from that program and also became the night time Dean of Men in Riverside California.  Alfonso felt he needed more training for ministry, so in 1979 he moved to Tulsa Oklahoma where he went to Rhema Bible Training Center. In 1980 he graduated and went into the field of ministry.

Since that time he has traveled throughout the country preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom  Alfonso is called to the ministry of the prophet!!  You will be blessed by his ministry. You will also be refreshed by the anointing of the Holy Spirit. You will experience the miracle power of God and the manifestation of the Spirit through the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Jo Willis was filled with the Spirit at a very young age.  She and her husband spent many years as pastors and associate pastors as well as music ministers.  They traveled for several years teaching praise and worship seminars.  Through all of this ministry, they learned to teach by the unction of the Holy Spirit as well as flow in the manifestations of the Holy Spirit.  Jo is a very gifted and talented speaker and teacher. In her early years, she sat under the teaching and instruction of Mom and Dad Goodwin, who also worked extensively with Kenneth Hagin.  The Lord has used her in the areas of teaching and flowing in intercession.  She has been called to train and raise up intercessors in the Body of Christ. 

She is full of practical information from her own experience as well as many hours of study in and teaching from the Word of God . She is on staff at House of the Lord Fellowship Church, serves in the Praise Team and works in many other areas of ministry. “Mama Jo” as she is affectionately known by those who know her well, will truly bless you with her insights into the Word of God.
